Public Recordings was founded in 2004 as a vehicle for the production and dissemination of performance work of an interdisciplinary nature. With a hybrid performance language that is directly related to the exploration of interim spaces and to the specificity of context, these experiments cross disciplines and continents. Working with the body as a primary site, these performances ask us to witness the body as a location for human experience and a conduit of possible meaningful exchange - if we can only abandon to it.
